VEEDERSBURG, Ind. -- Funeral services for Mrs. Lyle (Leslie) Youngblood Ramsey, 79, were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Fishero Funeral Home in Veedersburg with the Rev. Stephen Kivett of the Christian Church officiating. Burial was in Bonebrake Cemetery near Veedersburg. She died Thursday (Aug. 3, 1972) at a hospital in Tarpin Springs, Fla. She had been residing at the Halmark Nursing Home in Tarpin Springs. Born April 19, 1893, in rural Fountain County, she was the daughter of Charles E. and Nellie Isley Youngblood. She was married to Henry Ramsey on Nov. 30, 1912. He preceded her in death in March of 1969. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Peggy Snelling of Tarpin Springs; a granddaughter, Joanna of Tarpin Springs; one brother, Ernest Youngblood of Silver Springs, Md.; two sisters, Mrs. Iris Howard and Mrs. Dorothy Snider both of Veedersburg. She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. --waw
