Source: The obituary is from a collection of newspaper (paper names not recorded) obituaries saved, by Fauniel Hershberger, during the 1950's, 60's, 70's and 80's. She was a life long resident of Fountain County Indiana.  The collection is now housed at Crawfordsville District Public Library.

George M. Ramsey, age 73, of 211 S. G St., Tilton, Ill., father of Mrs. Roy (Alice) Dixon of Covington Rt. 2, died at 6 a.m. Monday, Jan. 18, at Lakeview Memorial Hospital in Danville, Ill., 15 hours after being admitted. Mr. Ramsey, who was a retired clerk for the New York Central Railroad, was born Jan. 11, 1892, in Oakland, Ill., the son of John and Sarah Vaughn Ramsey. He was married Oct. 11, 1916 in Danville to Anna Mullen, who survives. He attended the Methodist Church and he was a member of the Brotherhood of Railway and Steamship Clerks Local. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are; one daughter, Mrs. Dixon of Covington Rt. 2; one son, William of Cudahy, Wis.; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. today, Jan. 20, at the Barrick & Son Funeral Home in Danville. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery at Indianola.   --typed by Walt W
