RAFFERTY, Gertrude - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Gertrude Rafferty, 98 of Crawfordsville, died at 2:50 p.m. Friday at Williamsburg Health Care.  Rafferty was born near Hillsboro to Clarence A. and Margaret Gegner Moore. Her second mother was Sadie Campbell Moore. She married Leland C "Red" Rafferty Dec 24, 1941. He preceded her in death.  She was retired from the Indiana Bell Telephone Co. and her memberships included Indiana Bell Pioneers of America; Eastern Star Chapter 97 and American Legion Auxiliary. Addition survivors include one nephew, Ernest (Joanne) Moore of Kentucky and one sister-in-law, Elsie Moore. She was preceded in death by one sister, Mildred Crowder and one brother, Donald G. Moore. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Darin Perkins officiating. Burial will follow in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.
