RADCLIFFE, Fred E. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Fred E. Radcliffe, 70, Country Club Road died Tuesday morning at Culver Hospital after a one-day illness. Mr. Radcliffe was born on Feb 1, 1900 to Hamilton and Myrtle Ephlin Radcliffe at Harveysburg. On June 14, 1926 he was married to Dorothy Oxley. He was a member of Kingman Methodist Church and Masonic Lodge at Kingman and graduated from Kingman HS. Mr. Radcliffe also graduated from Danville Normal College and taught school for 3 years. He then spent 18 years as an automobile salesman for RM Horner, Inc. Survivors include the widow; a daughter, Mrs. Argyle (Erwili) Jackson of Indianapolis; a brother, Parke Radcliffe of Indianapolis and 5 grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Frank Little officiating. Burial will be in Harveysburg Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Wednesday.
