Rockville, Nov 6 -- A verdict in the case of William RABB, 58-year-old Parke co. farmer who was found dead on his farm near Tangier last Thursday afternoon has been returned by O.D. Switzer Parke County coroner. The verdict indicates that death was caused by a stroke of apoplexy. Carbolic acid burns on the dead man's lips gave rise to the thought that Mr. Rabb had taken his life. A bottle of carbolic acid was found in the barn but relatives claim that Mr. Rabb had been using the acid in treating a horse. The Parke County farmer was found in a semi-conscious condition by his wife. His death occurred about a half-hour later. Funeral services were conducted last Friday afternoon.
