PARNELL, Wilbur Fisk - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Wilbur Fisk Parnell, 91, formerly of Newtown died at 9:15 p.m. Monday in the home of his foster daughter, Mrs. Emma H. Miles, 609 Dodge St, West Lafayette.  He had lived in the home 20 years and had been in failing health a year.  Born north of Newtown he was a farmer near there and married in 1896 to Lela Gray of Newtown who died in 1949.  He was a member of the Methodist Church at Newtown.  Surviving with Mrs. Miles is a sister, Mrs. Alice McBroom of El Paso, Tex.  ---transcribed by kbz
