PARNELL, George - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Hillsboro, June 19 – George Parnell, 86, widely known Fountain and Montgomery County sheep breeder and farmer died at the home of his son, R. Leland Parnell here Sunday at 7 a.m. following an extended illness.  He was born near Attica in the Bethel community and moved here in 1942.  He was married to Lenora VanMeter, Feb 27, 1890. She preceded him in death.  He was a member of the Newtown Methodist Church.  Surviving besides the son are a sister, Mrs. JH McBroom of El Paso, Tex and one brother, W.F.
