PURLEE, Dale - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Veedersburg, Ind.—Dale E. Purlee, 78, of S. Main, died at 4:30 p.m. Monday (May 17, 1974) in Williamsport Community Hospital.

  He was born July 6, 1895, in Washington County, Ind. On Oct. 15, 1944, he married Ardif Busard, who died May 18, 1972.

  Survivors include a son, Richard of Oakdale, La.; and a stepdaughter, Mrs. Louise Jones of Worthington, Ohio.

  He was preceded in death by a daughter.

  Mr. Purlee had moved here in 1970 from Indianapolis where he had been a contractor for 25 years.

  Services were at 2 p.m. Thursday at Parham Funeral Home, with the Rev. Charles M. Wood officiating. Burial was in Rockfield Cemetery. -s
