Dudley H. Pugh of rural Metcalf, Illinois, age 67, died Wednesday evening, February 17, in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. He was born near Metcalf, September 3, 1914, the son of J. Lee and Cedelia Clark Pugh. June 18, 1939, he married Sarah Dodd, who survives. Pugh was a member of Metcalf United Methodist Church, Edgar Masonic Lodge at Hume, Illinois, Danville Scottish Rite, Ansar Shrine of Springfield and Edgar County Shrine Club.Also surviving are a son, Howard Lee of Indianapolis; a sister, Jettie Spencer of Crown Point; three brothers, William of Kingman, Dane of Indianapolis and Donald of LaMesa, California; and two grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday morning at Scott-Bolen Funeral Home in Chrisman, Illinois, with Rev. Charles Hale officiating. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Park at Danville, Illinois. – thanks to S
