West Lebanon, Ind.—Russell S. Pribble, 76, of West Lebanon died yesterday (Sept. 12, 1967) at the Veterans Administration Hospital following an illness of 13 weeks. He was born April 12, 1891 in Marshfield, the son of Louis and Lora James Pribble. He was married June 17, 1943 at Lebanon to Mary Grant Smith, who survives. Also surviving are a stepdaughter, Mrs. Ruschel Scott; a brother, Glen of Judyville; three sisters, Mrs. Gladys Kiser of Lafayette, Mrs. Reuna Kirts of Toledo, Ohio, and Mrs. Elwood Biggs of Richmond and a grandson. He attended Columbia University, Valparaiso University and Indiana University. He taught school in Warren County 48 years at State Line, West Lebanon and Williamsport. He retired in 1964 but continued teaching as a substitute. He taught English, history and mathematics. He was a veteran of World War I. The body is at the Crowmer & Siddens Funeral Home where friends may call after 2 p.m. today. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Kenneth Littleford officiating. Burial will be in West Lebanon Cemetery. ---typed by Walt W
