  Betty Powers of RR 2, Veedersburg, age 55, died Tuesday morning, November 23, in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Danville, Illinois. She was born at Rockville, May 11, 1925, the daughter of Ondus and Gleetha Riley Hadley. February 15, 1944, she married Edward F. Powers, who survives.

  Also surviving are a daughter, Sherry Covault of Veedersburg; a brother, Donald E. Hadley of Covington; and three grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at Parham Funeral Home in Veedersburg with Rev. James Bushfield officiating. Burial was in Centennial Cemetery near Kingman.
