POWELL, Roberta Lee

Roberta Lee Powell, age 33, whose husband is hospitalized in Danville with injuries from the crash, was the daughter of Robert and Mary A. Salts of Covington Rt. 1, former residents of West Lebanon.  She was born in Covington Dec. 21, 1933.
She married Jack Powell in 1957.  She attended St. Patrick's Elementary School and Schlarman High School in Danville, Ill.
Surviving, in addition to the husband and parents, are: five children, Vickie Fleming, age 14, of Los Angeles, Calif., and Jacqueline, Clifford, Kevin and Todd, at home; nine sisters, Mrs. Joyce McDonald of Williamsport, Mrs. Bertha Cadman and Mrs.Jacqueline Clawson, both of Covington Rt. 2, Mrs. Patricia Lape of West Lebanon, Mrs. Peggy Hancock of Danville, Ill., Mrs. Janice Knight of Sidell, Ill., Mrs. Alice French of Covington, Mrs. Lois Boswell of Rileysburg and Sandra, at home; and six brothers, Fred and William Townsend, both of Danville, Ill., Jerry and Richard, serving in the U.S. Navy, and Jimmy and Robert at home.
