Gilbert Orville Powell, twin son of Mr. and Mrs. Orville Powell of Veedersburg died about 6 a.m. Tuesday in Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville. The child born July 27 was returned to the hospital on Saturday after several days of declining vitality. Surviving besides the parents are the twin, Gregory and two other brothers, William and Robert and the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Weaver and Mr. and Mrs. William Green. A brief prayer service was held at the Powell home at 4 p.m. Tuesday conducted by Rev. Richard Owen of the Christian Church with burial in Mt. Hope cemetery at Covington. - kbz
