Waynetown - Mrs. Ella Powell, 78 died at 7:25 p.m. Friday at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville. She had been a patient there for three weeks after breaking a hip. Born Jan 13, 1878 in Fountain County she was the daughter of Wilson and Rosanna Ingersoll Livengood. She was married Jan 4, 1899 to Hiram C. Powell of Hillsboro who preceded her in death. She was a member of the Prairie Chapel Church. Survivors include the stepmother, Mrs. Wilson Livengood of Bethany, Okla; a daughter, Mrs. Irvin Davis of Linden; one son Frank of Waynetown and four brothers, Everett Livengood of Penfield, Ill; Claude of Bethany, Okla; Earl of Redlands, Calif and Carl of Rock Island, Ill; three sisters, Mrs. Clarence Smith of Alamo; Mrs. Lon WHite of Redlands, Calif; and Mrs. Walter Fleagle in Kansas; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Servies Funeral Home in Waynetown with burial in Waynetown Msonic Cemetery.
