VEEDERSBURG —Earl Powell, age 56, of Martinsville and brother of Mrs. Edgar McKinney of Veedersburg, died Tuesday, Oct. 10, unexpectedly while at work in his gunshop. Death was attributed to a heart ailment. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Powell and was married to Sally Goss, who survives. He was an Air Force veteran of World War I. Surviving, in addition to the wife, are: one daughter, Janice, at home; the parents and his sister. Funeral services and burial were in Martinsville. The Neal & Summers Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. --typed by Walt W
