Mrs. Bessie Elizabeth Poling, 83, of rural Perrysville, died at 3:10 a.m., Dec. 28, 1976, at Lakeview Medical Center.
  Born June 17, 1893, in Indianola, she was the daughter of William and Mary Swank. She married Lee Poling Oct. 19, 1910, in Danville. He died July 4, 1968.

  Mrs. Poling attended the Nazarene Church in Cayuga, Indiana.

  Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Harry Freeman of Waveland, Mrs. Virgil Kunkle of Georgetown, and Mrs. Lillie Mae Kunkle of Perrysville, with whom Mrs. Poling made her home; 11 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and a great great grandchild.
  Services were at 2 p.m. at the Ridgefarm Nazarene Church. The Rev. Larry Richie officiated. He was assisted by Rev. Carl Lee. Burial was in the Georgetown Cemetery.
