POINT, Margaret Fay - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Margaret E. Fay Point, 82, former resident of Lafayette, died at the Ben Hur Nursing Home here at 3:25 a. m. Tuesday. She had been at the home since November, 1964. Mrs. Point had been in failing health for three years and seriously ill for a week. She was born Aug. 15, 1883, in Attica, where she was reared. She was married Aug. 18, 1903, at Attica to Leroy E. Point, who died Aug. 9, 1951. The family lived in Minneapolis for a number of years, but moved to Lafayette 17 years ago. Mrs. Point was a member of the Lafayette Christian Science Church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. June Miles of Lafayette; a sister, Mrs. Jeanette Mangold of Cincinnati; a brother, Raymond Fay of Lafayette; a granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Hippensteel Chapel in Lafayette, with burial in the Rest Haven Cemetery.
