ATTICA, Ind. (CNS) — Mrs. Leota Mae Pogue, 74, of 1117 S. Perry, Attica, died at the Community Hospital in Williamsport at 4:40 p.m. Sunday (March 24, 1968) where she had been a patient one month. She had been in ill health a year. The daughter of Henry and Bertha Potter Clawson, she was born Feb. 18, 1894. Her mother died when she was two years old and she was taken into the home of Jackson and Lulu Deeter. She spent most of her life in the Attica area. She was married August, 1912 in Covington to Earl L. Pogue who died March, 1956. He was a farmer and former Attica businessman. A graduate of Newtown High School, Mrs. Pogue was a member of the Attica Presbyterian Church and attended the Christian Church. Surviving are two sons, Floyd, Attica; Wilbur, Peoria; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Juanita) Dotson, Attica and Mrs. Al (Zena) Hinton, Newtown; a sister, Mrs. Emma Miles, Attica; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the DeSutter Funeral Home after 6 p.m. Tuesday. Services will be in the funeral chapel at 2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Harry Randolph officiating. Burial will be in the old Baptist Cemetery. --typed by Walt W
