Mrs. Eartha Plaster, wife of Gus Plaster, died at her home, six miles south of Veedersburg at 11:20 o'clock Sunday forenoon from pneumonia following an attack of influenza. Mrs. Plaster was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Barker, who live 8 miles south of Veedersburg, and the sister of the late Earl Barker, who died from a similar combination of diseases on November 14. The latter's little son followed his father two days later and both were buried on the same day. Mrs. Plaster would have been 26 years old on Christmas Day and had been married over five years. She was well known in Crawfordsville for at one time she had been a clerk in the Bischof Store and was very popular with the younger set at that time.
