PLANCK, Mabel Lewis - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mabel E. Planck of Metcalf, Illinois, age 88, died Thursday afternoon, June 17, in Lakeview Medical Center at Danville, Illinois. She was born in Missouri, August 29, 1893, the daughter of John L. and Rosa Benner Lewis. October 13, 1912, she married Chester T. Planck, who died July 18, 1973. She was a member of Metcalf Christian Church.

  Survivors include a daughter, Daisy Flaherty of Des Plaines, Illinois; two sons, Chester C. of des Plaines and Lewis T. of Springfield, Illinois; two sisters, Cora sweet of Covington and Roxanne O’Conner of Schaumburg, Illinois; one grandson and three great grandchildren.

  Graveside services and burial were held Saturday afternoon in Young America Cemetery at Hume, Illinois, with Scott-Bolen Funeral Home in Chrisman in charge. -s
