PITTS, Sarah Shelby - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Sarah Hanna Pitts of Salt Lake City, Utah, age 94, died Friday, January 15, in Highland Manor Nursing Home in Salt Lake City. She was born in Laketown, Utah, April 23, 1887, the daughter of John W. and Mary Frances Yeager Shelby. She first married Lee Pead, and after his death married Charles Pitts, who also preceded her in death.

  Survivors include a brother, Frank Y. Shelby of Covington; another brother, five sisters, three daughters, a son and several grandchildren and great grandchildren in Utah.

  Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at Deseret Funeral Home in Salt Lake City. Burial was in Salt Lake City Cemetery. – thanks to S&E
