Glenn R. Pitman of Lafayette, formerly of Hillsboro, age 88, died Saturday morning, February 28, in Home Hospital at Lafayette. He was born at Hillsboro, December 17, 1892, the son of Finnis M. and Gertie Ellis Pitman. Pitman was a member of Hillsboro United Methodist Church and Masonic Lodge, Lafayette Elks Lodge and Indianapolis Scottish Rite. He operated Ford dealerships for 66 years, first in Hillsboro and later in Lafayette.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Ann Bowens of Lafayette, four granddaughters and one great grandson.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Soller-Baker Funeral Home in Lafayette with Rev. Dorman Winger officiating. Burial was in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. - Thanks to S
