PINKERTON, Carroll - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Carroll Pinkerton, 16, son of Charles and Bertha Florey Pinkerton, Veedersburg, died at Lake View Hospital in Danville, Thursday June 20. He had been ill for some time and became a patient at the hospital two days before his death. Complications caused his death. He was born on May 1, 1922 at Veedersburg, Indiana. His father died in 1933. Surviving are the mother, 3 sisters, Mrs. Velma Shoaf, Mrs. Carrie Pickett and Miss Ruth Pinkerton and three half brothers, Carl and Clifford Florey ,Veedersburg, and John Florey, Tipton, Indiana. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon from the United Brethren Church with Rev. A.F. Egnew officiating. Burial was at the Beulah Cemetery near Newtown.
