Funeral services for Mrs. Hettie Mabel Pierson, 74 who passed away Sunday afternoon at her home in Hoopeston, Illinois were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Hoopeston with interment in the Rossville Cemetery. She was a sister-in-law of Mrs. Ollie Rector of Sterling. She was a native of Fountain County where she was born Feb 19, 1889 the daughter of James and Mathilda Pavey-Ramsey. She was a member of the First Church of Christ Scientist. Besides the husband, two daughters, Mrs. John Paulson of Rossville and Mrs. Robert L. Carmichael of Pittsburgh, Pa; two sisters, Mrs. Mollie Switzer of Waynetown and Mrs. Rachel Smith of Lafayette and three grandchildren survive. – kbz
