Veedersburg - Funeral services were conducted for Paul H. Philpott at 2 p.m. today at Fishero Funearl Home in Veedersburg, Re.v Michael Smythers officiated. Burial was at Rockfield Cemetery. Mr. Philpott, 62 of 712 Park Road, died at 11 p.m. Friday in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Danville, Ill. He had been employed at the Fountain Foundry in Veedersburg for the past 20 years. Mr. Philpott was born at Veedersburg May 18, 1909, the son of William and Anna Ocheltree Philpott, both deceased. He married Wanetta Everlyn Sigler August 31, 1929 in Veedersburg. Surviving besides the widow are two daughters, Mrs. Norman Evans of 615 W. 2nd Street, Veedersburg and Mrs. Carolyn Cooper of Rt 1, Veedersburg; two sisters, Mrs. Lewis Brehm of Joliett, Ill and Mrs. Velma Swank of HIllsboro, Ire; and 9 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother.
