PHILPOTT, ElizaBeth Poole - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Wallace, March 8 1938 - Mrs. Elizabeth A. Philpott 76 died at her home 3 miles west of here at 8:30 o'clok this morning following an illness of 8 years. Death was attributed to a complication of diseases. Mrs. Philpott was born in Fountain County April 14, 1861, the daughter of John and Susan Alward Poole. She was married to Joseph A. Philpott here Augu 1887. The deceased was a member of the Freedom Christian Church near Wallace. Surviving are two sons, Shirley Philpott at home and Frederick W. Philpott Cope, Colo; two stepch, Wren Philpott; Nebraska; and Mrs. Grace Lamb, SD; two brothers, Grant Poole, Rockville; and Charles A. Poole, Greensburg and one sister, Mrs. Nellie Straughn, Rockville. Funeral services will be announced later. The family requests flowers be omitted.
