PHILLIPS, Fay W. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Fay W. Phillips of Lafayette, age 75, died Wednesday afternoon, July 8, in Home Hospital at Lafayette. She was born at Veedersburg, May 11, 1906, the daughter of Cyrus and Mary Craft Krout. In 1925, she married Raymond Casey Phillips, who died in 1966. A member of Faith Baptist Church in Lafayette, she was a graduate of Veedersburg High School and was a self-employed seamstress.

  Survivors include a niece, Mrs. Gayla Mickle of Lafayette, with whom she had lived; and four nephews, Richard Fox of Attica, Duane Fox of Williamsport, Charles Fox of Indianapolis and James Fox of Atlanta, Georgia.

  Funeral services were held Saturday morning at Maus Funeral Home in Attica with Rev. David Stewart officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery at Attica. – thanks to S
