PHELPS, Edna Grady - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Attica - Mrs. Edna Phelps, 78, former Attica resident died at 8:30 a.m. Sunday in her residence at Key Biscayne, Fla. She had been in failing health two years. Born at Hillsboro, she was a graduate of Hillsboro HS and Central Normal College at Danville, Ill. She formerly taught school at Newtown, had been a stenographer for the late Lee Whitehall, attorney and had been Fountain County Welfare Caseworker. Mrs. Phelps was a membe rof Key Biscayne Community Church and Psi Iota Psi Sorority. Her marriage was to Boyd Phelps. He preceded her in death in 1952. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Wendell (Barbara) Schwartz of Key Biscane; a son, Bill Phelps of Michigan City; one brother, Joe Grady of St. Petersburg, Fla.
