Wingate - Anna A. Pevler, 93, a resident of Wingate since 1907, died at 4:30 a.m. Thursday in the Small Nursing Home in Waynetown where she had been a patient for two years. She was born April 3, 1868, in Fountain County and her parents were Granville and Minerva SImpson Fletcher. In 1892, she married Bloomer G. Pevler in Fountain County. She was a member of the Wingate Methodist Church and the church WSCS. She and her husband came to Wingate in 1907. He has been dead many years. She is survived by three sons, Omer G. Pevler of Newtown, Carl C Pevler and Harley H. Pevler of Wingate - 6 grandchildren - 10 great-children (sic) and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Servies Funeral Home, Waynetown. Rev. Delbert Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Friday.- kbz

Mrs. Anna A. Pevler, 93 of Wingate died at 4:30 a.m. Thursday May 4, 1961 in Waynetown where she had been a patient two and a half years.  Born April 3, 1868 in Fountain County she was the daughter of Granville and Minerva Simpson Fletcher. She was married in 1892 in Fountain County to Bloomer G. Pevler who preceded her in death. They moved to the Wingate Community in 1907.  She was a member of the Wingate Methodist Church.  Survivors include three sons: Omer G of Newtown; Carl C and Harley H both of Wingate; six grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.  Services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Servies Funeral Home. The Rev. Delbert Smith officiated with burial in Green Lawn Cemetery at Wingate. – klbz
