Veedersburg, Ind. (CNS) – Mrs. Zeta Petet, 80, of 117 W. 7th, a life resident of Veedersburg and a retired teacher, died yesterday (Nov. 7, 1965) at the Chateau De Respos Nursing Home in Indianapolis where she had been a patient two weeks. Born Aug. 6, 1885, in Veedersburg, she was a daughter, of Daniel Lincoln and Melissa Miller Brown. She was married Aug. 1, 1920, to Milton Petet who preceded her in death. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Kathleen Hoffa of Indianapolis; a brother, Fred Brown of Memphis, Tenn., and two nieces. Mrs. Petet was a graduate of Veedersburg High and attended Indiana State Teachers College in Terre Haute. She had taught in the Veedersburg schools for 48 years. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Veedersburg, the Valetta Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, the DAR and the Theta Nu Chi Sorority. The body is at the Fishero Funeral Home.
