Mrs. Carroll Peck, 58, died about 8 p.m. Friday June 2, 1961 in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Lafayette where she had been a patient three days. She had been in ill health several years. Born Ruby Marguerite on Feb 24, 1903 at Williamsport she was the daughter of Joe and Sarah Citizen Kiger. She was graduated from Williamsport HS with the class of 1921 and studied music at the American Conservatory of Music at Chicago, Ill. She was married at Watseka, Ill May 10, 1924 to Carroll Peck who survives at the family home on Monroe St in Attica. Also surviving are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Kiger of Attica; two daughters, Mrs. Jean Blickenstaff of Attica and Mrs. Mary C. Dunteman of Lafayette and six grandchildren. Mrs. Peck was a member of the Methodist Church, the Order of Eastern Star, Pythian Sisters, Musical Art organization and was past grad organist of the Indiana Grand Chapter OES. Services were held at the DeSutter Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Monday with Rev. Harry Campbell officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery. – kbz
