Attica – Mrs. Myrle Hutson Peck, 59 of 207 Avenue Three, died at 9:15 a.m. Saturday at Harrison Steel Casting Co where she was employed as a nurse. Death was attributed to a heart attack. Born in Arkansas, she lived at Centralia, Ill before moving here in 1949. She graduated from Centralia HS in 1933 and from Englewood School of Nursing, Chicago in 1938. Mrs. Peck was a registered nurse and X-ray technician at Harrison the past 15 years. In 1963, she married at Attica to Carroll M. Peck who died Oct 16. Surviving are a son, William Linson Jr of Columbus, Ohio; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Robert (Jean) Blickenstaff of Attica and Mrs. Calvin (Mary_ Dunteman of Anderson; one brother, CW Hutson Jr of Huntington Beach, Calif; three half brothers, Ben Woodson of Gladstone, Mo; Frank Woodson of Peoria, Ill; and Ed Woodson of Chawnee Mission, Mich; one sister, Ella May Seward of Spokane, Wash; and one half sister, Helen Myers of Amarillo, Texas. - kbz

Myrle (Linson) Peck, 59, 207 Ave. 3, died unexpectedly 9:15 a.m. Saturday at the Harrison Steel x-ray office. She suffered a fatal heart attack. Mrs. Peck had been a registered nurse and x-ray technician at Harrison Steel the last 15 years. A native of Van Buren, Ark., she was born Jan. 5, 1915, the daughter of C. W. Hutson and Martha Lagow. She formerly had resided in Centralia, Ill., moving to Attica in 1949. She was married July 12, 1963, in Attica to Carroll M. Peck, who preceded her in death Oct. 16. He had been an accountant at Harrison Steel and also a professional musician. Mrs. Peck was a 1933 graduate of Centralia High School and a 1938 graduate of the Englewood Nursing School in Chicago. Surviving are a son, William Linson Jr., Columbus, Ohio; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Robert (Jean) Blickenstaff at Attica and Mrs. Calvin (Mary) Dunteman of Anderson; a brother, C. W. Hutson Jr., Huntington Beach, Calif.; one sister, Ella May Seward, Spokane, Wash.; three half brothers, Ben Woodson, Gladstone, Mo., Frank Woodson, Peoria, Ill., and Ed Woodson, Shawnee Mission, Mich.; one half sister, Helen Noyes, Amarillo, Tex.; one grandson, Thad Linson; six step grandchildren and two step great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 24 at the Maus funeral Home in Attica. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Attica. – thanks to S
