PECK, Florence G - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Miss Florence G. Peck of RR 4, Attica, age 91, died Friday morning, May 14, at her home. She was born in Judyville, November 21, 1890, the daughter of George W. and Ida B. Hopkins Peck. A graduate of Attica High School and Indiana State Teachers College, she was a teacher in Warren and Fountain counties for 52 years. She taught at Judyville, Attica, Williamsport and Fowler. Miss Peck was a member of Attica-Williamsport Presbyterian Church, Fortnightly Bridge Club of Williamsport, Retired Teachers Association of Fountain and Warren counties and the National Retired Teachers Association.

  Survivors include two nephews, Richard W. Johnson, with whom she made her home, and John R. Johnson of Williamsport, superintendent of Warren County schools; six grandnieces and a grandnephew.

  Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at Fisher Funeral Home in Williamsport with Rev. Charles Anderson officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery at Attica. – thanks so much to “S”
