Virgel Benjamin Pearson, 54, brother of Cecil Pearson of Veedersburg died at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday in the Clinton County Hospital at Frankfort after an illness of two weeks of a heart ailment. He was born at Ladoga on Feb 21, 1909 to Clarence and Melissa Harris Pearson. He was married to Lois Sanders on Feb 23, 1933 and she survives with two daughters, Mrs. Richard Moll and Carolyn A. Pearson both of Lafayette; three sisters, Mrs. Zeddie Conner and Mrs. Curt Bidgood of Indianapolis and Mrs. Paul Blessing of Pittsboro and two brothers, Ray of Crawfordsville and Cecil of Veedersburg. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday in the First Evangelical United Brethren Church of Frankfort with Rev DE Littler officiating. Interment took place in the Bunnell Cemetery. – kbz
