Attica – Orville Ray Pearson, 74, of Rt 2, Attica, Riverside, died at 6:10 p.m. Friday in Community Hospital, Williamsport where he was admitted a week ago. He had been in ill health 10 years. Born near Attica, Mr. Pearson had been a life resident of this area. He was a store merchant at Riverside and prior to that had worked at Harrison Steel Casting. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge at Attica and had attended the former Riverside United Brethren Church. Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Walter (Dora) Ray of Rt 2, Attica; Mrs. Frank (Floy) Held of Williamsport and Mrs. William (Ellen) Troxell of Lafayette.
Source: Same – Friends may be received at Dale Maus Funeral Home, Attica, from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm Monday. Service at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Maus Chapel, the Rev. Harvey Lange officiating. Interment Bethel Cemetery east of Attica. Also surviving is a sister-in-law, Mrs. Mabel Pearson, Rt 2, Attica. - kbz
