PEARSON, Lina Boggs

Mrs. Lina Edna Pearson, 76 former resident of Davis Township died Saturday morning April 15 at the Allen Nursing Home in Attica. She was a half-sister of the late Ira Boggs, Veedersburg. She was born Dec 7, 1884 in Warren County the daughter of Allen and Judith Whinery Boggs. She was married in 1907 to Enoch Pearson who preceded her in death in 495. She was a member of the Riverside EUB Church and Order of Eastern Star. Surviving are a son, Roy K of Attica; a daughter, Mrs. Wretha Swanson of West Lafayette; a brother, Clint of Attica; a sister, Mrs. Rhoda Beedle of Benton Harbor, Michigan. Two infant children also preceded her in death. Funeral services were held at the Roemer Funeral Home in Attica at 2:00 p.m. Monday. Burial was in Bethel Cemetery.

Attica – Mrs. Lina Edna (Boggs) Pearson, 76 of 124 Pierce, West Lafayette died at 1:30 a.m. Saturday in Allen Nursing Home, Attica. She had been in ill health a year and a patient in the nursing home a few days. Born in Warren County, she was married in 1907 to Enoch Pearson who died in 1945. The couple lived on a farm near Attica.  In 1947 Mrs. Pearson moved to West Lafayette. She was a member of the Riverside EUB Church and Attica Chapter 125, Order of Eastern Star. Surviving are a son, Roy Kenneth Pearson of Attica; a daughter, Mrs. Wreatha Swanson of West Lafayette; a brother, Clint Boggs of Attica and a sister, Mrs. Rhoda Beedle of Benton Harbor, Michigan. – kbz
