Graveside rites were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Kingman Fraternal cemetery for Charles A. Pearson, 81 with the Fishero Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Pearson was born in Fountain County and died early Sunday at the General Hospital in Marion, Ind. He had farmed in the Veedersburg community before removing several years ago and residing in Matthews, Ind since. He was married on May 11, 1905 to Delcia Pithoud who died in 1949. Five nephews, Homer and Raymond Pearson of Kingman, Oral Pearson of Danville, Cyris Parker of Tangier and Clarence Livengood of Covington survive. – kbz
