Carl Paugh, 51, a former Veedersburg resident was found dead in his home at 87 W 43rd street in Indianapolis where he had resided the past six years, Saturday night July 14. Death was caused by a coronary attack. He had been employed the past several years as a linotype operator on the Indianapolis Star and News. Born in Veedersburg March 5, 1911 he was a son of Joseph and Carrie Ratcliff Paugh. He was a graduate of the Veedersburg HS and attended the Veedersburg United Brethren Church. Surviving are an aunt, Miss Lola Paugh of Decatur, Ill and several cousins. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Fishero funeral home with the Rev. Alfred Dobbs officiating. Burial was in Bonebrake cemetery.
