Veedersburg -- Mrs. Myrtle Pattison, age 76, died at 7:10 p. m. Saturday, Aug. 25, at the Vermilion Nursing Home in Danville. She had been a patient there since April following a one year illness. Mrs. Pattison had formerly resided at 10 Tennessee St., Danville, before entering the nursing home. However, she had resided most of her life in the Veedersburg community. Born Jan. 25, 1886, near Veedersburg, she was the daughter of Howard and Kate Marlatt Teegarden. She was married to Embert Mendenhall in 1908. She later was married to Victor Pattison, who preceded here in death in 1952. Mrs. Pattison was a member of the Prairie Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Miss Helen Mendenhall of Danville and Mrs. Hazel Wood of Victoria, Tex.; a sister, Mrs. Gertrude Philpott of Veedersburg; three grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Funeral services were held at 2 p. m. Tuesday at the Fishero Funeral Home. The Rev. Wesley Potter officiated. Burial was in the Rockfield Cemetery. -- typed by Walt W
