Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Rush Creek Church for William J. Patterson, with the Rev. Alta Reese in charge. Mr. Patterson, the son of Robert D. and Mary L. Patterson, died Thursday, May 11 at his home. Burial was in Rush Creek Cemetery with the Machledt Funeral Home, Waveland, in charge. -S

  William J. Patterson, 74, died Thursday noon at Rockville. He was a member of the Baptist Church.    Mr. Patterson was the son of Robert and Mary Patterson and was born on March 9, 1870 in Fountain County. He had been a farmer all of his life and was never married.    Survivors include two nieces, Mrs. Delbert White of Kingman and Miss Lorraine Atkinson of Crawfordsville, and a brother-in-law, Mr. Clayton Atkinson, of Kingman.    Funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock at the Rush Creek Friends Church near Kingman, with Mrs. Alta Reese in charge. -S
