PARSONS, Walter - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Word has been received of the death of Walter C. Parsons, husband of Mrs. Mae B. Parsons of 608 North Wayne street, occurred at midnight Sunday at a hospital in Mattoon, Ill., the result of a heart condition. Mr. Parsons had gone to Mattoon to spend Thanksgiving with a daughter, herself at the point of death, and was stricken with the heart attack on November 26. A retired railroad man, he had spent most of his life in Mattoon. He was prominent in the Elks lodge. He was born in Attica, Ind. He leaves his wife and six daughters. Funeral services will be held in Mattoon with burial there in Dodge Grove cemetery.
