HOOPESTON - Lillian Parnell, 89, a former area resident, died yesterday (Dec. 2, 1967) at Ponca City, Okla. Born Aug. 17, 1878 at Rob Roy, Ind., she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Brown. She was married to Elmer Parnell who preceded her in death in 1936. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. George Hinds of Ponca City; a son, Robert of Crawfordsville, Ind.; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Methodist Church. The body is at the Hamilton Funeral Home where private family services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday with the Rev. H. Leland Walls officiating. Burial will be in Floral Hill cemetery. --- typed by CA.
