Veedersburg - William Parkerson, 86, a resident of Fountain County all his life died at 10 p.m. Thursday in Culver Hospital after being a patient there two weeks. He was born April 3, 1875, near Mellott. His parents were David and Violet Parkerson. On June 11, 1899, he married Minnie Tanner. He was a farmer and had been retired for 18 years. He is survived by his widow; a son, Dale Parkerson of Ft. Wayne; two daughters, Mrs. Wilma Wiggins, Veedersburg and Mrs. Kathleen Holland, Attica; a sister, Mrs. Jesse Hibbs of Mellott and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Crumley Funeral Home, Hillsboro. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Saturday. - kbz

He is survived by his widow; a son, Dale Parkerson of Ft Wayne; two daughters, Mrs. Wilma Wiggins of Veedersburg and Mrs. Kathleen Holland of Attica; a sister, Mrs. Jessie Hibbs of Mellott and three grandsons. Services were at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Crumley Funeral Home in Hillsboro. The Rev. JS Pritchard officiated with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. – kbz
