PARKER, Rose A. Pulliam - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Veedersburg -- Mrs. Rose A. (Pulliam) Parker 81 of Veedersburg died at 5 p.m. Thursday in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville, where she had been a patient since Feb 17. She was a Parke County native, born Feb 17, 1889 to George and Evelyn Parker (sic - I assume Pulliam). She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur J. Parker on Aug 5, 1965. Surviving are two sons, Elmo of Newtown and Forrest of Lafayette; two daughters, Mrs. Ray Gremore of Lafayette and Mrs. James Powell of Covington; a sister, Mrs. Edith McCutchan of Russellville; 8 grandchildren 3 great grandchildren, 7 nephews and 3 nieces. A son, Orville and brother and sister of Mrs. Parker are deceased. She was a member of the Christian Church of Muncie, Ill and Royal Neighbors Lodge of Judson. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Hegg Funeral Home in Covington where friends may call after 6 p.m. today. Interment will be in Stearns Cemetery at Muncie, Ill.
