PARKER, Cyril P.

Cyril P. Parker of El Paso, Texas, formerly of Tangier, age 85, died Sunday morning, July 11, in the Army medical center at El Paso. He was born in Fountain County, July 25, 1898, the son of Orm and Nettie Pearson Parker. In 1924, he married Thresa Deal, who died in 1966. A veteran of World War I, Barracks at Rockville and Fellenzer Post American Legion.

  Surviving are a son. Lt. Col. Cyril C. Parker of El Paso; three sisters, Lacey Craig of Frankfort, Ruth Hazelwood of Lafayette and Reba Mast of Fort Myers, Florida; and three grandchildren.

  Graveside services with military rites by the American Legion and VFW were held this afternoon (Thursday) in Memory Garden Cemetery at Rockville with Rev. Shirley Brown officiating. Butler Funeral Home at Rockville was in charge of arrangements.
