Mrs. Mildred Parish, 49 wife of Ralph Parish died at their farm home five miles south of Veedersburg at 10 o’clock Sunday morning as a result of a stroke although she had been in failing health for several months.  Mrs. Parish was born near Danville on Oct 22, 1900 the daughter of the late George and Grace Robertson Meade. She was married Nov 20, 1924 to Mr. Parish who survives as do her mother, one son, William at home; a brother, Harland J. Meade.  Mrs. Parish was a member of the Centennial EUB Church and of the Yeddo Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star.  Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Centennial Church and burial in Springhill Cemetery, Danville with the Fishero Funeral Home in charge. – kbz
