Laroy Parish, 80, died at 1 p.m. Tuesday in a hospital at San Rafael, Calif. He had farmed for several years in the Yeddo community. Mr. Parish was a member of the Yeddo Masonic Lodge and the Harvey, Ill Elks Lodge. He attended Manila School west of Yeddo and lived in Danville, Ill for 4 years before moving to Harvey where he lived 18 years. He and his wife moved to san Rafael in 1956. He was born Oct 3, 1892 in Fountain County, a son of William A. and Margaret Deer Parish. He was married to Glendola Printy on Nov 27, 1913. She survives. Other survivors include a son, Robert L of San Rafael and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers. Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.. Friday in Mt. Hope Cemetery where the Rev. Jerry Kissinger officiating.
