PALMER, Mabel Furr - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Hillsboro IN -- Mrs. Mabel Furr Palmer, 70 of Veedesrburg Rt 1, died at 9:30 pm. last night July 27, 1970 at St. Eliz. Hospital, Danville Ill. She had been ill since march. She was born December 29, 1899, in the home where she had lived her entire life, the daughter of Albert R. and Sarah Pogue Furr. She married Glen Palmer March 10, 1921. She attended Steam Corner Elm School and graduated from Veedersburg HS. She was a member of the New Liberty Christian Church and Ladies Aid. She is survived by her husband. Services will be at 1:30 p.m EDT Thursday at Crumley-Williams Funeral Home, Hillsboro with Rev. James W. Whitaker offic. Burial in Masonic Cemetery at Waynetown. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4p.m. Wednesday.
