John Logan Palmer of rural Veedersburg, age 55, died Wednesday morning, March 17, in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Danville, Illinois. He was born at Kensett, Arkansas, July 19, 1926, the son of Albert and Myrtle Albert Palmer. December 22, 1954, he married Martha Duncan, who survives. A resident of Stone Bluff area for 16 years, he was a member of the Methodist Church at Kensett and had been employed at Harrison Steel Casting Company in Attica for 22 years.

  Also surviving are two daughters, Ruby and Regina Palmer, both at home; two sons, Johnny at home and Albert of Williamsport; a sister, Rosie Benskin of Kensett; and a brother, Douglas H. of Dowagiac, Michigan.

  Funeral services were held Friday morning at Maus Funeral Home in Attica with Rev. William M. Dittmer officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery at Attica. – thanks to S
