John Palmer, 76, Yeddo farmer died at 4:30 p.m. Friday at his home near Yeddo of a heart attack. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Prairie Creek Church with interment in Rockfield Cemetery. Mr. Palmer was the son of Isaac and Elizabeth Palmer. He is survived by his widow Mrs. Lulu Hutchins Palmer, two sisters, Laura Simmons Cates and Mrs. Effie Dischel, Kingfisher, Okla and one brother, Elbert Palmer near Yeddo. (Note: 1871-1947)

Funeral services for John Palmer were held at the Baptist Church at one o’clock Sunday afternoon with the Rev. O. W. McGaughey of Veedersburg officiating. Music was furnished by Mrs. Keith Cates and Mrs. Arthur Phipps, with Mrs. Vincent Patterson at the piano. Pall bearers were Charles and Vincent Patterson, Ora Sample, John Zeigler, Ross Stoup and Marion Newnum. - s
